England have reason to cheer about as they head into the second ODI at Indore. Yuvraj Singh, who pounded England with a match-winning century in the first one-day international, could miss Monday's second match due to a back injury while Ryan Sidebottom will be available after recovering from his injury.

Match scheduled to begin at 09:00 local time (03:30 GMT)

Teams India (From): Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni(w/c), Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Rudra Pratap Singh, Munaf Patel, Virat Kohli, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay

Team England (From): Ian Bell, Matthew Prior(w), Owais Shah, Kevin Pietersen(c), Andrew Flintoff, Paul Collingwood, Samit Patel, Ravinder Bopara, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, Stephen Harmison, James Anderson, Luke Wright, Tim Ambrose, Alastair Cook, Ryan Sidebottom, Andrew Strauss, Monty Panesar

Pitch and conditions
Dhoni and Pietersen both wanted to bowl first in Rajkot and the Indian captain said losing the toss was a blessing. However, he indicated that batting first would be the way to go in Indore. "The wicket will not be like the one at Rajkot," Dhoni said. "There will be wear and tear as the match progresses. It's dry and it will become slow and it will be difficult to score." Collingwood agreed, saying that the pitch was flat, had some cracks and the boundaries were small. The curator Samundar Singh Chauhan, however, was of the opinion that the toss wouldn't be that significant. "You can see a score in excess of 300 being scored and maybe even being chased. The wicket is hard and will last 100 overs."
